Owning a home is a big part of the American Dream!

Partners First-Time Homebuyers Assistance Program makes the dream of homeownership a reality for many eligible low to medium income households by providing sufficient acquisition and rehabilitation funds (repairs mandated by HUD's Housing Quality Standards) as well as homeownership counseling and education throughout the home buying process.

The amount of assistance is based on each household's needs. Loans and grants are available to cover down payment, closing costs and rehabilitation expenses of qualified single family homes. Loans are provided at 0% interest and are deferred while the family lives in the assisted home.

The program is limited to low income, first-time homebuyers (*three years rule may apply). Emphasis is placed on but not limited to large families, single parent families, one income, low-income, and minority populations.

Down payment assistance and home rehabilitation funds are available in Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan County throughout the year, subject to available funds.

Through Partners' Home Rehabilitation & Accessibility Program (HRA), we can assist recipients with grants and deferred loans to make improvements to your home. The program helps to ensure safe, decent, sanitary and accessible homes for eligible recipients. Loans and grants are available to cover rehabilitation expenses of qualified single family homes. Loans are provided at 0% interest and are deferred while the family lives in the assisted home.

The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) helps to stabilize communities that have suffered from foreclosures and abandonment. Partners purchases and rehabilitates foreclosed properties in order to sell the properties to low-to-moderate income households in Sheboygan County.
